ALL Mapillary photos are available for OSM free, forever. The 78M photos you see on mapillary.com are ALL available and these are all Mapillary photos. We do have the option for a client to have private photo repositories (compare to your private repositories on GitHub) but these photos belong to the client and we do not “have” them in the license/ownership sense. "

Solo para meterle más leña al fuego, Mapillary ahora es una compañía de Facebook.
Aunque la adquisición no incurre en ningún riesgo directo para la plataforma, pues FB ha dependido de Google Maps para mostrar fotos de negocios hasta el momento, lo cierto es que la migración de los datos subidos a Mapillary ahora están en posesión de FB, lo que contribuye no solo al perfilaje digital y su estrategia de mercantilización de datos, sino que también ahora FB tiene posesión sobre todas las imágenes subidas a la aplicación de fotomapeo.
